Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the Women's Super League season with a 1-0 win at Charlton. Alex Greenwood scored a fine free-kick in the 36th minute, which proved enough to give the defending champions a fourth successive WSL victory.

City had plenty of opportunities to extend their lead but could not find a second goal as promoted Charlton's winless run continued, leaving them bottom of the table without a point.
